Our Hazardous and Electronic Waste program is celebrating 25 years this year! That’s 25 amazing years of diverting hazardous material from our landfills and environment.
To celebrate, we’d like to invite everyone who is serviced by Quinte Waste Solutions to visit our depot located at 75 Wallbridge Crescent in Belleville on June 2nd. Between 9 am and 4 pm, stop by with or without your hazardous and electronic waste, we will be giving away Orange Boxes to celebrate.
I’m sure you’re wondering- what’s an orange box? An Orange Box is a clean way to transport your hazardous waste from your home to any mobile event or to our depot in Belleville with ease. The Orange Box is not for curbside collection, but instead, it is a nice bright orange visual reminder that all hazardous waste should be collected and brought to be properly disposed at the Belleville depot or any mobile event. The orange box will keep your hazardous waste together in one location for to make transporting material a breeze.
For 25 years, Quinte Waste Solutions has proudly serviced our nine-member municipalities to ensure that hazardous waste does not negatively impact our environment by leaching into our soil and waterways. We welcome you to celebrate with us. See you on June 2nd.
