How To Recycle 4/20
We are always encouraging proper recycling 24/7 and that even includes recycling on 4/20. Surprisingly there are some paraphernalia that is recyclable. And some not so surprising things that are not recyclable.
We’ve compiled this list for you to help you be a conscious cannabis user. So pass the dutchie to the left-hand side and get comfortable. We promise this is easy-peasy!
Recyclable:
- Boxboard cartons
- Clean plastic packaging that is either a recyclable film (do the scrunch test) or a #1, 2, 4, 5, or 6 plastic
- Plastic bottles that are #1, 2, 4 or 5. Please make sure they are clean and have no residue
Not Recyclable:
- Bongs
- Pipes
- Ashes or butts
- Rolling papers
- Crinkly film packaging
- Syringes for Oil products
- Foam wrap
- Homemade bongs – water/pop/juice bottles used for a bong are now garbage
